I’m Liliana Sánchez Quiroga, photographer and founder of

Roots Shoots Studio.

For over 10 years, I’ve had the honor of accompanying more than 500 families during one of the most meaningful moments of their lives: the day they meet their child and begin their journey as a family.

As both a photographer and a mom in the adoption process, I deeply understand the emotional weight, the waiting, and the importance of preserving this chapter with care and respect. These images are more than photographs — they are memory, roots, and legacy.

At RootsShootsStudio, photography and video come together through a trusted local team, all guided by the same purpose: to document your story with sensitivity, intention, and heart.

At Roots Shoots Studio, we approach every adoption story with deep respect for the moment being lived.

With over a decade of experience, we understand not only what to do and how to do it, but also when to step back — when to simply observe, honor the emotion, and allow the moment to unfold naturally. Sensitivity, discretion, and emotional awareness guide every decision we make.

We work with a trusted local team in Bogotá, Medellín, and Bucaramanga, and we are also available to travel throughout Colombia to accompany families wherever their story unfolds.

Whether through photography or video, our purpose is always the same: to preserve this chapter with care, intention, and heart — creating memories that will remain long after the moment has passed.
